The sun has risen in all its splendor
and I have risen much refreshed from my nights rest. I have been
studying some time and now my mind is not fit to write, but I have
not much to say. Mr Farwell ave me a book from the library yesterday
and wishes me to write an abstract from it. the title is Letters from abrad
I have not seen Frances since you was up. She has commenced going to
school. I do not have the pleasure of receiving a paper from you as I expected
neither have I recived an answer to the one I wrote to Mrs K. please
mention it to her or ask M. J to write soon. Please give my love to them.

I presume you feell some anxiety about me
as my appearance before the gentleman but I hope you will not trouble
yourself for I think if you were here you would not think that I do not
behave properly. I see but little of them and care nothing about them.

I have heard since I came to A that I had a letter from J.P.B. and
he heard of it also. I do not know from what it arose. He also heard
that I some thought I was after him as some express it, be he said he
did not think so. I wish if you heard him or any one else say any thing
about me you would let me know it. I suppose you had heard of the
fact that some thought it had been my intintion to try and have you
have Augusta an me take her brother if I would get him. But I must
stop for my hand trembles so that I cannot write Please give my
love to all. I hope you will write soon and till me all the ness
and a word of advice Augusta
