Dear Brother,
After having delayed writing so long I now
commence, but has nothing in particular to say. B why say I thus
can any brother or sister be in want of something to say? I think
far otherwise. I am now quite well and hope you are also.

I thought of you after you wrote as to your being sea-sick. I hope
you was not as sick as you anticipated. How long did you stay
I some expected to see you up here last week, and more especialy
after I heard, J. P. B. was here. I received your epistle by him, -
was very glad of one after so long a time. I have some things to
say concerning him -- but forbear thinking them foolish

What is he doing in Boston? I hope he is not a loafer.
He spoke of his father's wishing me to visit them, and in quite
strong terms. I should like to very much could I without so
much expence. He mentioned that you would like to have
me visit Boston. Do you think Mrs. Hettridge would like to
have me? You know I should like to very much. Should like
to stop and attend school this winter, and I shall unless
I attend at Lowell. I think. Joseph informed me that you
thought I had better not. He also. I cant conceive the
reason why. but I will leave this until I see you which
may be in a week or so. I have got to get me a cloak
and the expence will not be more ^not so much to go to Boston and
get it, providing Mrs Ht. will assist me. I also want me
a muff which will be cheaper there than here. If I come
next week, I will send you a paper and the time when
I should like to have you meet me. Please just
mention it to Mrs. H. I recieved a brief letter from
Mary Jane this week. I now am enjoying much in
thinking of cominggoing there. I almost fancy my self there now
