We have sincerely endeavored to do what will
promote the highest good of ^the beloved Seminary, whose
interests are committed to our care & those for whose
prosperity we are willing to spend & be spent.

It is, gentlemen, our earnest wish & prayer that
the Lord would guide you in your studies & fill
you with the fruits of his spirit, & thus prepare
you for distinguished usefulness in that holy calling,
in which you expect ere long to engage.
