my Dear Sir

It would be dificult
for me to express the high gratification
which your letter of the 28th [?] has
afforded me. Our Board of managers
met This morning and after attending
with great pleasure & interest to
your communication, directed me
to inform you, that the proceedings
of your society meet their entire
approbation and that they will most

your committee on the objects
of their justification.

They have,
for this purpose, appointed a
special meeting to be held on the
first monday in June, at Washington
