A cloudy morning rain
this evening. Ben and Paul
and Owen plowed half the
day.

in the garden.

Ellen and Melvin Bailiss
come and got milk and
butter. I wrote a
letter to Mary Brumfield
this evening.

Heard this morning that
Sam Carter was to be
buried to day.
