Wednesday, October 16, 1918

A good day. Ben sowed
wheat
. Owen and Paul Josie and I
stripped tobacco. Heard today
that John McCormic died
this morning. I never have heard
of as many deaths and as
much sickness as there is now.

The ware houses has closed for
a while. Bruce Reynolds come
home yester day. Mrs Cook is
at Johnsons visiting.

Ben has gone to Mrs Starkeys
for seed wheat. He went on
his car.
