A good day and a good rain
to night. Ben has fired
tobacco all day and is at the
barn tonight.

Lizzie Bennett spend the day
at Marvins today.

I tied tobacco nearly all
day. Mr Owen and Paul tied
two. Mrs Owen and Josie helped
this evening.

Josie got dinner and made
a kettle of preserves of
some peaches that Lizzie
brought us.
