Friday, August 2, 1918

A good day. Ben and Owen
and Paul pulled leaves to
day. Marvin Smith and William
Gilbert (col)
helped them.
Nearly all the children
that was big enough handed
leaves
. This evening Fanny
Emerson
Josie and I helped some.
Josie got dinner. She cooked
snaps and beets and butter beans
and corn. Mrs Owen sent
her the corn.

To night Paul and Fanny
has gone to meeting at
St. Johns. (ink smear) Well I went to
sleep I made my mark.
