A clear colde day.

We had a storm last night.
It thundered and rained
and the wind blowed very
hard. Ben mended his
fire place this morning
then went to Renan.
He helped Marvin strip tobacco
this evening. To night
he has gone to Strait Stone
to the lodge.

I got breakfast this
morning. Ben milked.
Josie got dinner and washed
dishe
s fed the chickens
and calves. I have not tried
to do anything out doors
to day. Was afraid I might
fall. I got a nice letter
from Effie to day.
