Sunday, September 1, 1918

A beautiful day. The men folks staid at the barns most of the day. Paul carried him mother home this morning. Josie staid at home and got dinner then went to Reynolds. Marvin carried Josie and Edna and Franklin Carrie and four of their children. I spent the day there. Posie and Nannie and baby was there. Julia and baby. We had a pleasant day. THey had plenty of water mellons. Ben will have to stay at the barns to night.
