A good day. Ben and Owen and Paul pulled leaves to day. Marvin Smith and William Gilbert (col) helped them. Nearly all the children that was big enough handed leaves. This evening Fanny Emerson Josie and I helped some. Josie got dinner. She cooked snaps and beets and butter beans and corn. Mrs Owens sent her the corn. To night Paul and Fanny has gone to meeting at St. Johns. (ink smear) Well I went to sleep I made my mark.
