Remarks on board Saturday the 10th of August 1822
the 24 hours Commences with fresh Gales from
the Southward at 11 handed fore and main top
gallantsails at ?spurt one reef in the fore main
and mizen topsails at ? put another ?freef in
the topsails. Handed the jib and spanker
with some rain. The watch employed in
ships duty. 45 Days out.

Remarks on board Sunday the 11th 1822. These
24 hours Commences with heavy breezes. We
killed three goats. AM saw a brig. We bet the
reefs out of the topsails and loosed the top
gallantsails at 6. Tacked ship and stood to
the Westward. The brig tacked and stood
to the Westward. 46 Days out.
Lat [LATTITUDE] 6=39 Long [LONGITUDE] 18=00
North West

Remarks on board Monday 12th 1822. These 24
hours Commences with moderate breeze from the
southward. Unbent the foretopsail to mend and bent
another ?a sail on our weather bow. 47 Days out.

Commences with fresh breezes from the southward.
We killed a turkey. The watch ?imployed [EMPLOYED] in ships
