Friday, July 7, 1922

A good day today. Jim [?]
has bin sick all day. Ben
helped Booker thrash wheat this
evening. Johnson [Reynolds?] went
to [?] to day Mollie and
[?] and I went with
him. Went to [Lethcer's?] house
but did not go to the graveyard.
The children seemed badly
hurt. I know they will
miss him so much. I saw a
lot of folks that I know
and a lot of kind folks.
Nellie & Mrs. [Car?} and Mrs. Trent
got dinner & staid with
Josie. [?] [Bennett?] come for
Effie late this evening. Hattie
washed here this morning.
