A colde morning. A killing
frost. The men stripped
tobacco all day. The children
went to school. Edna
went to Kate Harveys
to stay tonight. I hope
she may have a good
time. Mr Short brought
some beef here today.
I bought 60 pounds
at 12 cts.
Letia washed today
for me.
Fletcher Car sent
Ben a box of chestnuts.
They are very nice.
I have not felt so
well today. Was up
two late last night.
Mabel went to
sleep today.
Ben has gone hunting
tonight.
