A good day. We had a good rain
last night. Jim and Ben and Henry
pulled the weeds from among
peas. They helped Norman
Booker load on some logs
to carrie to the Saw Mill.
This evening Ben carried
his can to Gretna. She was
going to Lynchburg. I went
with them. We brought bread
and ship stuff and sugar meal. We
had a good trip. Nellie and
Mrs Trent had the work
done. Mrs Trent milked for
one. I am glad of their being
so good to me. Josie has
sit on the porch [some?]
today.
