Monday, October 14, 1918

A good day. Ben and Owen hauled
pea hay this morning and plowed
this evening. Paul and Josie and I
stripped tobacco all day. Little Henry
and Beatrice Owen tied this evening.
Mr Dews come and got some
apples and brough us some corn.

Ben went to Strait Stone
and carried 4 chickens and 2 doz
eggs. Bough soap and oil.

To night Ben and Paul and Owen
are at the barn putting tobacco
in the pit.
