Tuesday, January 8, 1918

A clear day. Ben cut
wood in the woods to day.
Josie has had the tooth ache all day.

I washed a little and got dinner.

Willie Mayhew come
here to night. Him and
Ben went to John
Hutchersons
to play cards.
Snow is still on the
ground and it looks
to night like it might
snow before day.
I certainly do hope it
wont. We have not got
much wood at the wood
pile
. I cut out an
apron to night and then
I was too lazy to make
it.
