BOURGEOIS 1 Battalion in Training. Men of Headquarters inoculated in SALLE CRAPS at 11.00 hours. Brigade Transport Competition held at GENVAL, the Battalion Transport making an excellent RFC showing. Battalion Paid in afternoon. Summertime came in to effect at 23.00 hours. Weather - fair and moderate.

" 2 Battalion Church Parade in morning - Church of England Service held in SALLE CRAPS at 9.30 RFC hours: Roman Catholic Service held in Parish Church GENVAL at 11.00 hours. Weather - clear and cold.

" 3 Battalion in Training, Commanding Officer's Parade being held at 9.00. Educational classes in morning and afternoon. Restrictions on dancing, due to outbreak of influenza, RFC removed today. Weather - clear.

" 4 Battalion in Training. Educational classes held in morning and afternoon. Inter-platoon baseball RFC indoor matches played. Weather - clear.

" 5 Battalion in Training. Agricultural lecture given at 11.00 hours by Private Merrifield, 72nd C. I. Battalion. Report of Brigade Guard Competition shows this Unit in the lead. Battalion RFC Dance held at 19.30 hours in SALLE CRAPS. Weather - fair and cold.

" 6 Battalion in training, and bathing at old mill in the valley near GENVAL. Lecture by Professor DALE at 11.00 hours. Working party of one Officer and 20 men repaired roads RFC approaching Brigade Supply Dump. Battalion Football Team defeated football team of Brigade Headquarters, 2 - 0 this afternoon. Weather - fair.

" 7 Battalion in training. Educational classes held in morning and afternoon. RFC Weather - dull.

" 9 Church Services - Church of England Service at 9.30 hours in SALLE CRAPS, and Roman Catholic Service at 11.00 hours in Parish Church in GENVALL. RFC Weather - dull.

" 10 Battalion in Training. Educational classes held in morning and afternoon. Weather - dull and RFC cold.

" 11 Battalion ROUTE MARCH - in morning. Concert by 3rd Canadian Garrison Artillery Concert Party RFC in afternoon at 14.00 hours in Patronage Hall, GENVAL. 38th attalion Football team defeated 85th Battalion team, 2 - 0 in Brigade Semi-finals. Weather - fine and clear.

" 12 Battalion in Training. Educational Classes held in morning and afternoon. Concert in RFC evening at Patronage Hall, Genval, by 3rd C.G.A. Concert Party. Weather - clear.

" 13 Battalion Route March, 9.00 to 12.00 hours. Inter-platoon and Company Sports in afternoon. RFC Weather - fair.

" 14 Battalion in Training, and paid in morning. Lecture by Captain WILKIE, a returned prisoner of war in afternoon. Weather - clear and cold. RFC

" 15 Battalion in Training - Commanding Officer's Parade at 9.00 hours. Educational classes RFC held in morning. 4th Canadian Division Boxing Championships run off in Brussels. One hundred and forty Officers and Other ranks attended. Weather - fair and cold.

" 16 Church Services in morning - Church of England Service held in SALLE CRAPS at 9.30 hours. RFC Roman Catholic Service held at 11.00 hours in Parish Church GENVAL. Battalion dance in evening. Weather - fine.

BOURGEOIS 17 Battalion in Training, and preparations made for review by King of the Belgians. RFC Educational classes held in morning and afternoon. Divisional Cross Country Race at WAVRE won by team from this Unit in afternoon. Weather - clear, wtih fall of snow and rain in afternoon.

" 18 Battalion in Training, and rehearsal of review by King of the Belgians, Battalion being RFC formed up in four companies of two Platoons each. Weather - clear.

" 19 Battalion in Training. Baths in morning and afternoon. Education. Weather - cold and dull. RFC

" 20 Battalion in Route March in morning. Lecture at 13.30 hours by Medical Officer. Report RFC issued today shows this Battalion in second place in Brigade Guard Competition. Weather - clear.

" 21 Battalion in Training. Commanding Oficer's parade held at 9.00 hours. Educational classes RFC held in morning and afternoon. Weather - dull.

" 22 Battalion in Training. Canadian Corps Sports held in Brussels today. Cross Country running RFC team from this Unit won Corps Championship. Weather - cold and dull, trning to snow in evening.

" 23 Church Services in morning. Church of England Service held in SALLE CRAPS at 9.30 hours. RFC Roman Catholic Serice held in Parish Church at BOURGEOIS at 9.30 hours. Weather - dull.

" 24 Brigade Rehearsal of Review by King of the Belgians took place today. Education in morning RFC and afternoon. Weather - cold and clear.
