LOZINGHEM 1918 June 6
Batt. training - and playing games in afternoon
and evening. Weather - very hot. RBO'S

do 7 Batt. training according to syllabus. Specialists in
athletics receiing extra time and attention in prep-
aration for Brigade sports. Boxing ring erected
and artists with the padded mitts are beginning to
sport a professional air. Weather - hot. RBO'S

do 8 Batt. received demonstration of co-operation with
Tanks. Baseball & football games gaining many
rooters. Judo or baseball a favourite. Weather :- hot. RBO'S

do 9. Batt. training. Elimination contests held in a few
events to determine Batt. representatives for Brigade
Sports. Huns active in our area with planes & sent
a few shells over to see if we were at home. Church
Parades in forenoon. Sports in afternoon. Weather:-
hot in forenoon with slight shower in late afternoon. RBO'S

do 10 Huns active in forenoon, shelling vicinity. Caused
casualties to troops on aerodrome grounds. Their
planes also crossed over our neighbourhood.
