HONDINEHEM area 1917 Nov 17 cont.
of the Colonel became exhausted and in his capacity
of acting Brigadier gave orders for the Brigade to
march. After some distance had been covered
and darkness had set in, the busses overtook
the Brigade and the weary men hailed their ap-
pearance with delight. On arrival at MERVILLE
good billets and a hot supper were found waiting
and shortly after, with the exception of necessary
guards, the Battalion rested in refreshing sleep.
The weather throughout the move was favourable. RBO'S

MERVILLE 18 Prepared the night before for an early move today, Oper.
Order 108 was carried out with promptitude and the
move to BUSNES was made without a hitch. The
billetting Officer and supbordinates had done their
work well, and the Batt. was comfortably housed
in time to get their noon meal. The men were
