Vimy 1917 May 6
"C" Co 72nd will relieve "C" Co. 38th. "D" Co 72nd will relieve "B" Co - 38th
Each O.C. Company will detail one officer and four men to re-
port at these P?ratt-Headquarters at 3 pm today to proceed with
Liut. Elder to take over dugouts to be occupied after relief.
Two Cooks per Co. will go with this party to take over kitchens.
This officer and guides will meet their relieving companies
at Battalion Headquarters on relief at 10 pm to guide them
to new quarters. Each Co. will be responsible for
taking out its own Leurs Guns Magazines. Very Light Pistols,
dixies &c. Disposition of Units after relief will be as
follows. Headquarters at S. 10. d. q. s. Two Companies at
s. 10.d and 11. b. Two Companies s. 10. d. The Transport
officer will recounoiter the route to this position to de-
cide the best way to bring up rations. completion of
Relief to be reported to Battalion Headquarters by wiring
in the name of O. C. Company.
