Auditor Bond
" Know all men by these presents that we Leonidus
M. Jewett as principal, and E. J Jones as surety
are held and firmly bound unto The President
and Trusteess of the Ohio University in the sum of one
thousand Dollars ($1.000.00) for the payment of which
well and truly to be made, we do hereby bind
ourself, our executors, administrators and assigns
jointly and severally -

Bond. [end inserted] Witness our hand this 14th day of June A D.1904.
The conditions of this obligation are such that whereas
the said Leonidas M Jewett has been duly elected
Auditor of The President and Trustees of the Ohio University
a corporation under the laws of Ohio, for the current
year , and until his successor is elected and qualified
accordint to law.
Now if the said Leonidus M. Jewett
shall faithfully discharge all of the duties of the
Auditor of The President and Trustees of the Ohio
University according to law during his said term of
office,and until his successor has been elected and
qualified according to law and render a just and
true account of his doings as such Auditor when
required, and deliver over to his successor in office
all property of every kind that shall come into
his hands belonging to said The President and Trustees
of the Ohio University ,and shall faithfully perform and
discharge all of the duties of the said Office according to law
then this obligation to be void , otherwise to be and remain
in full force.
