for the erection and construction of said new Library
building , which bids were read by the Secretary.
I.M. Foster moved that we accept the bid of Charles.
P. Kircher for the sum of ($31.311.17) Thirty Two Thousand
three hundred and eeleven 17/100 dollars as the lowest and
best made for said new library building upon the
said Charles. P. Kircher giving bond for the perfomance
of his contract as required by law, which motion
was duly seconded and the yeas and nays being demanded,
a call of the roll was had resulting in the following
vote to wit: Ellis. Jewett Lowrey. Hamblin. Davidson.
Lene. Jones. Welch. Coultrap.Foster. Biddle and
O'Bleness.
And thereupon the Chair declared that
said motion had been unanimously adopted by all of
the members of the Board present at this meeting,
and being a legal quorum of said Board , nine [crossed out] of [end crossed out]
members thereof consisting a quorum. (See legal

bond [end inserted] On motion of E. J Jones duly seconded and adopted
the bond of said Charles. P. Kircher tendered by him
to the Board for the faithful performance of his contract
for the construction and erection of said new library
building , and the sureties thereon were accepted and
approved by the Board , and said bond was ordered to be
placed on file,and attached to the contract for the construction
of said new library building this day made and entered
into between this Board and said Charles. P. Kircher

Board make and enter in a written contract
with the said Charles. Kircher for the erection and
Construction in accordance with the plans and
specifications of said new Library building which
motion was duly seconded and adopted , and
thereupon said contract was signed and executed by
the parties, and is hereinafter fully copied at
page ___ .
