The Board of Trustees met in annual session
President C.W. Super in the chair present. A.G.
Brown- John Welch Charles Townsend J.R. Blackburn
E.A. Cranston. John Hancock. George W. Boyce. L.M.
Jewett and V.C. Lowry

[Excused?][in margin] On motion Geo Woodbridge. Horace Wilson Perry
Wiles. C.S. Welch

The President here read to the Board his
annual report.

On motion it was Ordered that the fiscal
year of the University end upon the 15th of November
of each year and the Treasurer and Auditor were
directed to make their reports hereafter accordingly

On motion the departments of music and drawing
were referred to the Executive Committee for future action.

Mr Hancock moved that a Committee on
Faculty and Salaries be appointed which motion
was duly Seconded and adopted, and the chair
appointed Messrs. Hancock. Judge Welch and Townsend as
that Committee-

The request or petition of the Presbyterian Church to
sell certain a portion of In lot 18 in this village was referred
on motion duly seconded to a committee consisting of
Messrs Welch, Townsend and Jewett.

A certain memorial of the students was read
to the board and filed with the Secretary in relation
to Prof. H.J. Sudduth.
