and de Steiguer this day. Present Judge John Welch
C.S. Welch. C.W. Super. E.H. Moore and L.M. Jewett.
On motion of Mr Jewett the salary of Prof. W.M. Stine for
the six months from Jan 1. to June 30 1888 was increased
25$ per month making his entire compensation 100$ per
month one half payable out of the general fund.

Pres. C.W. Super was authorized to purchase books not
exceeding 60$ for the use of the College library payable
out of the general fund.
The following bills were approved allowed and ordered paid

Athens O. Feb. 15 1888
Executive Committee met this day at Office of Jewett and
de Steiguer. Present. C.W. Super Pres, C.S. Welch. E.H. Moore
John WElch and LM Jewett. After careful discussion Mr
Jewett moved that Mrs. Mary F. Townsend be elected as
teacher of foreign languages for the next and ensuing spring term
of 1888 at a salary of 170$ which motion was duly seconded
and adopted, and the subject of the election of Prof. A.D. Morrill of
College Hill Ohio for said Spring Term as Professor of Biology
was referred to E.H. Moore and C.W. Super to report to the next
meeting of this committee, and the committee then adjourned.
