Athens, 2 O'clock P.M. Tuesday August 5, 1845

Agreeably to notice, at the time appointed for the annual
meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Ohio University the following
members convened at the usual place of assembling in the central
College edifice; to wit. Hon. Elijah Hatch, Hon. Ephraim Cutler, Gen.
James T. Worthington, Rev. Amos Miller, Gen. Samuel F. McCracken,
A.G. Brown (Secy) Hon. John H. Keith, V.B. Horton Esq. and Rev.
William Aikin.

There being a quorum present, the Board proceeded to business.
Our motion, Genl. S.F. McCracken was chosen President pro term.
The Committee on the sale of Lots etc. made a Report, which
was accepted, and ordered to be recorded as follows:
The committee appointed to lay off and sell Lots etc. Report
that on the 15th day of April, 1845, after due notice, they proceeded
to offer for sale a number of Out & In Lots and Re-entered Lands, and
made sales as follows;"
