Ahmad ibh Muhammad al-Rabati, who was
appointed to the court of Alawite Sultan
Mawlay Sulayman as a teacher to the Prince
Abd al-Rahman. During this time he composed
a well known treatise on the art + technique of calligraphy.

Small manuscript (11.2 x 11.5 cm) prayer book.
Written 15 lines to the page in dark brown ink
in maghrebi script or cream colored paper.
Significant words + phrases picked out in red or
blue. Margins ruled in red + blue. Leaves
marked 131 + 132 in pencil.

The most celebrated manual of Blessings on the Prophet
in history-Dala'il al-Khayrot or "Waymakers of
Benefits."
