The 1st ed. c this title was published in 1535.
Rosslin (who sometimes used the Greek form of his
name, Rhodion) succeeded his father as city
physician at Frankfurt in 1526.

In 1533 c. Egenolph issued revised versions of
Der Gart + Brunschwig's Destillier buch in one
publication (Nissen #1667) The text at that time
was edited by Rosslin. On Rosslin's death the
herbal portion of the work was reedited by
Theodore Dorsten + entitled the Botanicon.
