THe most sumptuous printing of the Geneva
translation. Printed on paper emulating vellum.
WHen found uncropped it shows margins heavly 3" broad.

Issued in a smaller, more convienent format
than its predecessors, the Geneva Bible was
the 1st English Bible to use verse divisions
+ the 1st to be printed in Roman type.
Except in the New Testament where the influence
of Tyndale predominates, the Geneva contributed
more to the King James Bible than did any
other single version. It quickly became the
cheap, popular version of the Scriptures; for
well over 1/2 a century this was the Bible
most read by Englishmen + most often reprinted.
