Holinshed Chronicles (1587) provided Shakespeare - the bulk
of his raw material for the political events in Cymbeline.

"No 2 copies of the 1st Folio are identical. The
book was printed 2 pages at a time on a small slow
speed press over a period of nearly 2 years. Proof
was read & corrections were made as the printing
proceeded. The uncorrected sheets were mixed -
the corrected ones - the result that no extant
foloio shows the finally corrected state on every
page."
- 3rd folio first published in 1663 by Philip Chatwinde when
it was mainly a reprinted ed of the 2nd folio (1632) In
the following year it was reissued - the addition of 7 plays.
- Roger Daniel printed quires A -E, I - Z, Gg - Aaa &
Ppp - Eee ; another printed quires F - H, Aa - Ff &
Iii - Ooo ; while Alice Warren printed quires Bbb - Hhh.
