the Order of St. John of Jerusalem, in 1375. He died while
working on the 7th book + the work was completed by
Nicolas de Gonesse.

first works in question of the original Latin. This is followed
by some general comment by the, translator, thenby the
translation itself, headed "Acteur' + lastly by comment on, or
additions to the passage translated headed by Translateur; or
Addicions'. This translation is also frequently interrupted by
short notes of the translator.
