The 11th German Bible, one of the rarest to occur
complete. THe woodcut illust. based on the popular
woodcuts that 1st appeared in the Low German Bible
version in cologue are rather free copies by an unknown
artist; they are somewhat reduced in size, measuring
c.90x135mm, not quite the width of the 2 printed
columns. The popularity of this picture Bible probably
accounts for the extreme scarcity of surviving volumes.
