Types: 115 Rb, (this cast was presumably made for the
1481 Dante) text; 91 R, commentary. Capital spaces
to guide letters. Catch words at end of quires a - d +
some others.
[inserted] by Baccio Baldini after drawings by Sandro Bottieulli [end inserted] Engravings are known only for the 1st 19 Cantos of the
Inferno. Of these, only those for the 1st 3 Cantos are
found impressed on the pages of text (in some instances
the 3rd being a repitition of the 2nd) The remaining engravings, if any or all appear, are found on
seperate slips of paper posted in at their respective places.

The 1st known book both dated + signed by Nicolaus
Lauentii is the Alphonsus de Toleto, Quaestiones
super libris De anima of 26 July 1477, but he
was printing before that date. His last work is the
Gregorius, Moralia in Job, in Italian completed
15 June 1486.
