Dear Mr. Raffaelli,
I am so sorry that Mr. Ryan was unable to keep his appointment
with you on June 30th last. I am afraid I had organised every
minute of the day for him but, unfortunately, his apoointnents ran
well past their allocated time.

Mr. Ryan has had to return to the Continent and it will be
some time before he is able to get back to London. Meanwhile, I
should still very much like to talk to you about your D-Day experiences
and I wonder if you could possibly manage to come to this office some
time within the next week or two? If you would be good enough to call
me here, we could arrange a mutually convenient meeting.
