the News of the World. I commanded
a L.C.S(L). Landing Craft Support (large)
during the whole of the landings in Normandy.
We were off the beachhead in Juno sector
from H-hour - 2 ie 4:30 am 6th of June 1944.
Supports the final wave of troops in.
