Here's the third D-Day item I think is worthy
of mention. We were in the middle of the invasion but we
had absolutely no idea how we were doing. How did we find
out? By getting the news over the ship's radio from
London! The captain of the "Biddessoa" scribbled the news
notes on the ship's stationary and gave them to me to
pass on to the rest of the gang.

I still have these notes and could have
photostats made if there is interest in them.

I hope this has proved interesting enough to
warrent further discussion.
