The Charters of all the Bank in the State expires within this year, under the limitation prescribed by a Statue Law.
The Phoenix Bank Charter will run out & not be renewed. A Charter for another by many of the same stock holders will be established, & called the Nantucket Bank.
The Charters of the Pacific & that of the Manufacturers Bank will be renewed.
And a new Bank is also aout to be stablished called the Citizens Bank.
Which makes four Banks, which according to the magnitude of the place & its business is two, if not three, more than is likely to be beneficial to the place.

When at the same time in the State of affairs, it was the most moderate that had been known since the memory of man. There was but one flight of snow during the Winter which was gone in a few days, And no Ice that would hardly bear the weight of a man -
A man raised Potatoes as big as hens Eggs - and dug them some time in the 3rd month.
