The first case tried in Court was an Insurance made
by Seth Paddock on the Ship Tarquin of 600$ at the
Franklin office in Boston -- which was decided in
Seth's favour by the Jury. Curtis of Boston for the Office
seemed much disappointed, & said he should bring the
case before a full Court -- The other Tarquin cases
six in number was laid over or continued.

Josiah H Riddell vs -- Thompson & Pearce of Boston
book decided in favour of Riddell -- 144$

Isaac Coffin vs Philip Tylor. Note 50$. In favor of Tylor

James Law vs Solomn. [SOLOMON] Coleman's heirs in favour of Law
Carried to a full Court.

Phoenix I.O. vs Gidn. [GIDEON] Folger indorser or Paid Macy
Note for payment of Pauls shares in the Office 1200$
Gideon was discharged

Isaac Coffin in the capacity of Judge of Probate
for Daniel Coffin vs. Nancy Coffin Elisha Starbuck
& Nathl. Barney vs Administrators & Mathew Myrick
& Geo. Myrick bondsmen on the estate of Benjamins
Coffin deceased. The Jury decided in favour of the
Administrators. This was a hard case to Daniel, it
appeared that the Administrators had discharged Daniel's
dividend of the estate ammtg [AMOUNTING] to 1100$ but through
the inattention of Daniel to his proper business.
the money went to pay Elisha Starbuck's creditors
& Daniel neglected to secure himself in a proper manner

Griffin Barney vs. Abraham Barker's heirs
this was decided against Griffin, but will be
Carried to a Court of a full Bench
