Troops for Nov,& Dec. 64, and Jany, & Febry, 65 report private James Glass, "Absent. sick at Camp Foster, Nashville, Tenn., since Dec. 16.64; March, & April, present. Regimental Returns for Nov, 64, and Jany &March, J.S. 1865 do not report him absent. F.C.S. Company Morning Report for March 30. 65, shows him from Absent sick to present for duty. Company Returns show station Nov. 30. 64, Jany31', Febr. 28th,March 31, April 30, and May 31", 65, illegible, Tenn. Regimental Order book shows station of regiment. Nov. 14 to 27. 64, at Smeedsville, Tenn; Dec. 9. 64, to Janry 31, 65, at Nashville, Tenn; Febry, 3 to 8th at Whites Bluff, Tenn; Febry 13th to May 31, 65 at Smeedsville, Tenn. The name Willis Moxley, or similar name is not borne on rolls of Cos, B or C, of that regiment. C.D Ricketts struck throgh Assistant Adjutant General 2 Lieut 2 Cavalry

In the matter of Arie Smith widow of Jackson Smith late Private Co. "C" 100 Regt. U.S.C. Troops for Pension ON THIS Sixteenth day of December A.D. 1886, personally appeared before me ______in and for the aforesaid County duly authorized to administer oaths _______________aged ___ years, a resident of Paris in the County of Bourbon and State of Kentucky. whose Post Office address is Paris Bourbon County Kentucky Alfred G. Wornall aged 50 years, a resident of Paris in the county of Bourbon and State of Kentucky whose Post Office address is Paris Bourbon County Kentucky well known to me to be reputable and entitled to credit, and who, being duly sworn, declared in relation to aforesaid case as follows:
I am well acquainted with Arie Smith widow of Jackson Smith late Private of Company "C" 100 Regt. U.S.C. Troops, Said Arie Smith lived with me and was my slave before the war, her name was then Arie Johnson and she was married to Jackson Smith while I owned her. Slave marriage. This was before the war, Said Jackson Smith at the time of marriage was owned by Grand Father John Hedges dec d. they were married at my house on the _____day of _____185_in the County of Bourbon and State of Kentucky, near North Middletown in said County and State.
I knew the said Jackson Smith at the time he enlisted was a sound hearty & able bodied young man, I knew that neither said Jackson Smith and Arie his wife had not been married to any other party, and that they were recognized as husband & wife by their friends & acquaintenances & that they so recognized each other.
SEAL and I further declare that I have no interest in said case and that I am not concerned in its prosecution.
