Dear Papa & Mama :
I am
writing with pen this time because
I am too lazy to get up to the
Typewriter. Saturday I had to make a
round of all my villages and see
what kind of barracks and the serial
number of each, were being or
had been constructed at each place.
The round covered over a hundred
kilometres and I had only a
bycicle to make the trip. The
first thing I did was to break
five spikes out of the hind wheel
which made the wheel run crooked
and heavy. As result of the trip
I have been feeling about half
dead ever since. It is a good thing
my chief told me to rest from
all activities for a few days
and I feel like I would have
