The Humble Petition of Peter Blinn
Sheweth That at an Election for A member to Serve in this Assembly for the Town of Bath Your Petr was A Candidate for the Sd Town of Bath as well as Wyriot Ormond Gent, and that at the said Election your Petr had A majority of Voters duly Qualified to Vote for A representative for the Said Town to Sit and Vote in this Present Assembly, Notwithstanding which the Sheriff of the said County hath returned the Said Wyriot Ormond as A duly Elected Representative for the Town of Bath, when in truth and fact your Petitioner ought to have ben returned Representative for the Said Town
Wherefore your Petitioner Prays this Honourable House would take the Premises in Consideration and grant such relief as in your Wisdom shall Seem Meet and Just And your Petitioner Shall Pray Peter Blin

The Committee of Priviledges and elections met the Sixth day of November 1762. And Chose John Starkey Esqr Chairman & appointed Frederick Jones Clk of the said Committee.
The Petition of Peter Blinn setting forth that he was duly elected a Member for the Town of Bath, tho the Sheriff returned Wyriott Ormond Member for the said Town, was read And the Allegations & Proofs on both Sides being heard, and Mature Deliberations being thereon had, It is resolved that Wyriott Ormond Eqr is duly Elected and Returned a Member for the aforesaid Town of Bath
