All theas 24 hours strong winds from the
South west and rainy brig under clost reeft
top sails the most part broak out
water &c Lat 30 57 Long by Cro 57° 33¾ West
so ends this day

Remarks On board Brig Leonidas Sunday June 6th 1852
All theas 24 hours fresh gale and rainy the wind from
the South west at 4½ PM took in the main sail and
jibb and clost reeft the top sails at 7 furld the fore
top sail blowing heavy at 7 AM set the main sail and
jibb and trysail &c saw A no of sail
so ends this day

All theas 24 hours fresh gales and some rain the
wind from the South West at 2 PM shifted to the North
East and blowd fresh at 4 PM turnd one reef out
the main top sail and the last part of the night made
all sail more modrate brig stering SW by W
saw A no of sail &c Lat by Ob 30 26 N Log by CR 60 14¼ West
so ends this day

Thefirst part strong winds from the East N East
brig stering West at sunset furld the main sail and
put one reef in the top sailes the last part more modrate
made all sail plenty of fish porpose bill fish and jumper &c
so.e.n.ds.THIS.DAY - Lat by Ob 30° 11.N. L. By. C.R.O. 62 40 WEST.
