At 3 Pm got potatoes & onions onboard of 2 shoar boats to take onboard of
The ship boats went off a long side @ 6 Pm An Some spanyard came on
Shoar & ran away took all his clothes with him @ 7 Pm all on board stood off SW
Sold 20 glons molasses at 30¢ per. g. 22 galons tar @ ¢25.

All these 24 hours morderate brezes from the E with pleasant weather @ 4 pm
Saw a fore top sail schooner cruiseing for whales standing by the wind
To the S & E @ sunset shortned sail & lufed too for the night @ day light
Made sail stered NNW per com @ 6 Am saw a merchant vessel stering to W,
At 6 Pm we find the 1 day Chron very near right with a standing rate 1-37 m Sec subtracted
We noteed their times & find the 8 day Chron 2 m-44 Sec to slow of the 1 day the 8
Days rate is now 1hour - 2 m - 14 Sec
So ends these 24 hours with pleasant weather Latt By observ 40 . 40

The first part of these 24 hours lite winds mid & last part strong brisk
Brezes from S by E @ 6 Pm saw 2 sails stering to the E @ sunset shortned
Sail hove to SW by W @ day light set sail stered NW per com @ 11 Am
Saw 2 more sail stereing E So ends these 24 hours Lat by obs 41-14
At 4 Pm Long by Chron 34 37
