Sat 12 last night we had the worst blow that
we have had yet evry thing was on the
moove that could move and the ship
roling almost over evry fiew minutes I
was very much frightened and distressed
I did not sleep eney and John had
as much as he could tendto the ship
and me but it has morderated consid
erable to day I did not get up to day
until 12 Oclock for I felt bad enough
and now I can scarcely hold my head
up I feel so bad

Sun 13 to day cold cloudy and strong winds

Mond 14 we had a gale comence last night and
it still continues I have not ben able to
sit up but a little while to day

Tues 15 the gale continued until this noon and
was very surveer while it lasted since
diner we have more morderate wether
but it bloes a strong breaze now I am
rather better to day so that I have ben
up all day and have sowed some

Wens 16 to day very pleasant over head but a
very heavy swell on and almost calm
John says another gale in les than 24 hours
