Thanks for the spelling of Riega and rubric. As for ochocientos, it looks like “ocho” on one line and
“-tos” on the next. Is that right? How did you decide where to put the “cien”? Or did they write “ochoc” on the first line?

Great question: They actually do write ochoctos for the abbreviation. Since we expand it, I actually just got used to writing it out and did not notice this abbreviation, which is different from the normal. Usually, you will see ocho and then tos in superscript, or something similar. Thanks!
