Q. Would a life of perfect goodness here,
make one physically beautiful?
A. It would. Beauty depend on expression,
not on features and you often see a lovely
face that has no beauty of form. But
every one cannot see this beauty of the
spirit, it must be perceived by the spirit.

Q. How do you see our spirits?
A. I see your spirits in the faces of your
angels who reflect them.

Q. (Ned) Do I imagine the winged figures
which sometimes I think I see?
A. It is not imagination, they represent to
you, your new freedom and mean that
you may, like them, if you will to do so,
rise above earth into a purer air.

Q. What are they?
A. They are what we call symbolic beings
which in all ages have communed
with men.

Q. Where do they dwell?
