Dear Sir: -

Your note is received. The lot is now under care. The permit which a stonecutter requires before setting a headstone is issued by our Sec'y (#5 Tremont St., Boston) and I see no reason why he should not issue it on the request of any one heir. I think the foundations can be built any time now without detriment to the lot.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

Messrs. Coloper, (?Hewit] & Co., #17 [illegible] Slip, New York.

Dear Sirs: -

Enclosed please find blue print showing by plan and elevation the dimensions of seven T bars (A to G) and twelve pair of angle bars (H & etc. ) to be used for green-house frames.

It is more important that the web of the T bars should run uniformly 3/8 inches thick, than that the weight should be forty seven lbs. per foot.

At what price will you deliver the bars here, including the drilling of the holes, the fish plates, bolts and nuts or rivets for the same as may be needed and one coat of good antirust paint.

The short T bars (J) may be riveted to the beam C, and plate K may be attached to the pair of angle bars by rivets, but in other cases bolts will be ncessary. How soon will you deliver after the order is given?

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

Dear Sir: -

The pinks appear to be all Winter killed and I do not think they will come up again so as in any way to cover the graves and I would suggest that it will be better to sod over the graves which can be done without expense to you.

Dear Sir: -

The cost of painting the fence on lot #670 with one coat of asphaltum will be eight dollars (8.00). I would suggest that the lot could be improved by removing the fence which can be done for the old material.

Respectfully yours,

J. W. Lovering, Supt.

Frank Hill Smith, Esq., #171 - Tremont St., Boston.

Dear Sir: -

There are several stones in your lot that are badly out of plumb and the graves have sunken, one of them has a large hole at one end, which should have early attention.

Respectfully yours, Supt.

I have examined your lot as desired. The whole lot needs to be regraded enriched and resodded which will cost fifty dollars ($50.00). There is too much shade near the lot for the grass to do well.

A.P. Vinal Esq

Somerville

Dear Sir

Your favor of May 26th with regard to the perpetual care of the Vinal lots 2767 to 2771 is receive and there is no difficulty in carrying out your wishes except in the matter of the vases.

It is not customary to agree in any case to furnish special variety of plants, and the contract would only provide for "filling and care"

Would it not be better to leave the vases entirely out of the contract,

and have them filled each year with such plants as you wish?

Please let me hear from you in regard to the vases, and also inform me in whose name the Contract is to be made, as there appears to be several owners.

Yours truly

Henry F. Spencer, Esq.,

Somerville.

Dear Sir: -

It is proposed to put the lot of the late J.C. Tyler in order and there are two pine trees which stand on the boundary line between that lot and the lot of the late Columbus Tyler which it is desired to remove. These trees hurt the grass very much and their removal will be a benefit to both lots. If you have no objections they will be removed before the new sod is laid and as this work must be done before hot weather an early reply will oblige.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.
