Dear Madam: -
The cost of cleaning the headstones in the Wright lot will be six dollars ($6.00).
If the fence on both these lots and the granite pieces between the lots are removed both lots might be regraded with a uniform slope without expense except the old material and as the lot would be very much improved I would be glad to have the authority of the heirs to do so.
Respectfully yours,
J.W. Lovering Sup't. [?]

Dear Sir: -
The buttresses from the corner posts of your lot between the front line of the lot and the path have moved and need to be reset and the joints leaded. If attended to now more extended repairs will be saved later.. The cost will be ten dollars ($10.00) and the fund is not in the meantime in condition to bear the expense
These two buttresses and the border stone on the line of the path are not needed and they require constant attention to keep them in place. The lot will look better if they [?] and the place sodded over [?] expense to you I would suggest that [?]

A.P. Vinal, Esq.,
#36 Walnut St., Somerville, Mass.
Dear Sir: -
If the Vinal lots #2767 to #2771 are placed under perpetual care the bank at the back will be repaired at the present time in connection with the repairs to be made on the lots, provided you consent to the removal of the tree at the South East corner of the lots. The bank will no doubt profit by the additional care and washing which will be given to the lots, and more pains will be taken to keep it in order, but no special agreement ^[?] will be made in the contract.
Respectfully yours,
J.W. Lovering Sup't.

Dear Sir: -
The cost of cleaning all the marble on your lot will be ten dollars ($10.00). If the myrtle on two of the graves is reset and that on the graves of three adults and one childs renewed altogether the cost will be fifty four dollars ($54.00). Myrtle is warranted for the season in which it is planted but not through the Winter. As myrtle is so uncertain and at its best only looks well for a few weeks in the year very many proprietors are removing it and sodding over the graves. A coat of wood ashes will cost three dollars ($3.00) and I think it will improve the sod. I will have the lot weeded and some grass seed sprinkled over it.
Respectfully yours,
J.W. Lovering Sup't. [?]

Mrs. Martha A. Bowles,
So. Boston, Mass.
Dear Madam: -
If the fence on your lot is removed, the holes in the lot and sunken grave can be filled up and sodded over, the shrubs in front removed, a strip of so laid along the edge of path and the balance of the place seeded for five dollars ($5.00). The cost of painting the vase white will be one dollars and fifty cents ($1.50).
There are two headstones in the lot which are out of plumb and are probably without foundations. To build foundations and reset the stones will cost thirteen dollars and seventy cents ($13.70).
Respectfully yours,
Sup't.
