Listed in the 1838 Catalogue of proprietors as the proprietor of lot 232, and in the 1849 and 1860 catalogs as the proprietor of lot 1126.

A James Brown was also paid by the Cemetery in 1873 and 1874. It is not known if they are all the same person.
