Jan 23 1838. This certifies that I have examined
the Treasurer's accounts for the year ending 31 ult—, that they
are correctly cast & the payments charged properly made
vouched— that the balance due to the Proprietors is $1253.59 & that
he exhibited to me certificates of 12 Shares in N England, 15 Shares in Hamilton, & 25 Shares in Shawmut Bk & 6 Shares
in the Boston & Lowell RRoad standing in the name of
the Corporation.
